Yesterday, January 27, 2011 we celebrated Teachers Day in School.Even before I reached the school gate, flowers (mostly roses) are being sold outside on students.It reminded me of my High School days (Demanding kasi minsan ang mga HS teachers.lol).

Since I got into College I never really cared about teachers day especially on my former school.Anyone who will be seen handing out anything like roses or whatever to their professors will be suspected of being "sip-sip" or whatever.I personally didn't want to give anybody anything on teacher's day back then because nobody deserves it.Haha!

But in my new school, I actually found someone who well deserves to be given something on Teacher's Day.That's why I together with two of my idiotic buddies bought a rose.Yes! Isa lang po.for the 3 of us.Kasi kuripot kami.haha!

So, Ayun...may program kami sa hapon.Then I remembered something from my elementary days...ang pinaka-una unahang embarrassing moment ko! It was actually when I was asked to write my name on the board and I couldn't even reach the black board.I was Grade 1 then.I was really trying to reach it until my Teacher carried me up just to write "Hello! I'm Mark".First day of class on my first grade.

I'm not a fashion designer and my tech blog was such a major major failure, but things might just spark up a bit if for once, I'll do a hybrid of both.So here's the techy fashion trend in 2011!

I honestly don't know what I should call that thing markable's wearing.But I surely like the spiderbot!

I always see hip/hop videos on youtube.That's why I thought if Youtube was a human - he'd be HIP and Stylish!

Facebook's addictive!

Obviously, this was an ambitious attempt! I rarely know any "fashion term".lol, and tech (is mostly defined by web apps such as 4 of the most famous sites).This is just part 1, next time I will try to draw a fictitious girl model..

I know right! The image above shows nothing more than exaggeration! If facebook was a human I could have become a murderer.That's not exactly how much I hated the site in fact I love facebook - its just that I desperately want to get out of the facebook cycle!

So, Step on facebook basically means get facebook under your feet- don't let it go up to your head and run into your mind.Mind over matter lang yan! ;-) Squish it!? ..hmm..can't think of any logical proposition behind the phrase but then, perhaps you just simply squish it! lol

2. Go get a cup of Coffee!

I know facebook has helped you re-connect with old friends but then sitting over a cup of coffee with them is a lot better than just chatting with them on facebook.Although you can do both, and perhaps tell them you would like to have a cup of coffee with them somewhere via facebook.The thought that you remembered them not because their face was displayed on your friends list would make them feel special and not like any of your anonymous facebook friends.

3. Go out with Recent Friends!
More than reconnecting with old folks from the past; I know you engage more on conversing with people your recently became friends  with or have been hanging out with recently.And since I know you've got their mobile numbers - why not ask them to go out either for a group study(if you're students and if you need to) or just hang out with them in the mall or watch a movie together!

4. Be Productive - Do the Chores!


There will always be a time that you will feel very unproductive after logging into facebook.And it happens - most of the time.That's why you should keep yourself busy as much as possible especially when you're at home.So, if you really want to be productive - doing the chores will surely keep you busy at the same time "productive".Plus, your mom's are goin to give you extra allowance the next morning! ;-P

5. Open the TV
Before the internet became pop! TV was our first addiction, so perhaps you can open the television and scan the channels.You'd surely fall in love with either Star Movies, Disney Channel or National Geographic!

6. Schedule Your Internet Consumption!
Like do you really have to do this? Hey, my Mom's paying the internet bill and I think I should get the best out of every mbps. But since its killing me softly then I'd probably consider making a schedule on my internet.Hmmm...So I will be only be around online from 1-3pm. while at night...hmmm...7-9pm and then I'd go spend my free time somewhere else.

7. Use your Email more often than Facebook and Turn off your notifications!
Once you received an email it will give you this "sincere and personal" feel on it.You will get either enthralled or get scared of what's the person mailing you would say.Even before facebook, Email is the best way to communicate especially if you needed what you can really call "security".

Since you will be using your email more than facebook, then you might consider turning off the email notifications sent to you from time to time.Because if they really want to tell you something, seriously they will email you! You don't even have to get notified when a friend of yours was tagged in a mutual friend's top 10 losers friends, sent you an invite at Citiville or became a fan of Parish Hilton Bitch!

8. Total Recall!
Here, I am in no way talking about the Arnold Shwarzenegger (like how do you f*ckin spell it) 1990 film.Here, you have to recall what you used to do before you became a facebook addict.This is so simple, you only have to THINK! and Recall. . .If you used to go to friendster go and please stop being a hypocrite (I know too well you've had FS before FB) No lame excuses please! If you used to go out for a walk then do it.Because, I used to walk alone by myself on the riverbanks (Nag-eemote!).

9. Do the Alternatives!
What do you on facebook?
Log-in - Log on sites that will consume your time.Go watch videos on Youtube or better yet watch "X"!
Read Status Updates and Like most of them - Stop dillydallying please!
Upload Photos - Have them printed and keep them on a real photo album.
Play Games - Relive your childhood days as a bully and make all the kids cry around your neighborhood.That'll be fun! More than farming or constructing virtual cities.
Stalk your Crushes - Better if you'd stay closer to them, like face to face.Do it!
Add a lot of people to reach 5000+ FB friends - that's bullshit! As if you'll get any popular?


10. Deactivate Facebook, Go to a place where there's no internet!  and Destroy the Computer!

I personally didn't like the thought of being a LEO.I was a Virgo before and believed that I've always been since birth.

The characteristics of a Virgo actually suits me well not only because I've read it on some crappy horoscope or newspaper but because I know myself more than anyone else.My birth date might not have changed but it feels as if they already changed it.And now they're introducing another zodiac sign? I'm not really fond of astrology, astronomy or even reading horoscopes.But I'm used to the fact(f*ck) that I'm a Virgo.All my horoscopes are overly vague nonetheless wrong but Virgo describes me perfectly and that only shows how bogus Astrology can be!

This is not the case in here however.People took the change in the zodiac seriously that they didn't noticed.The change was caused by the shifting of the tilt of the Earth's axis.Meaning there's something even terrible that could happen! Some of which are  mentioned on my blog post: Snow in the Philippines.

But then if you're really desperate about getting your old zodiac back! Hold on to this world and wait up to 6000 years before it happens and I tell you - according to those Astrobastards it really will! Or you might just want to consider the "New Zodiac Sign Chart Above".

P.S: I hate this I just found out my brother's zodiac didn't change.(He was born on Sept.17 and remained a Virgo ever since! Err..)

Yesterday, for 5 seconds I got closer to death. That unexpected 5 seconds I wouldn't forget. Things went so fast. I don't know if it's my last.

Today marks the birthday of my Tatay who happens to be departed from us already.And I miss him so bad! Not a day goes by without me thinking of him. It's just so sad that this is going to be the first time on his birthday without him, the birthday celebrant.We usually go to the beach on his birthday but now that he's gone things went different.But still we're celebrating his birthday! Oh, grandpa wherever you are I hope you're happy and I would personally like to say "Thank you for saving me yesterday and Happy Birthday!". (You're our guardian angel now! You can visit us if you have time but for now you can go and fly back to Heaven because I think I'm okay.I'm taking good care of Lola so don't cha worry.Again Thank you for saving my life yesterday and Happy Birthday).

To why I was up in heaven and was able to greet him a happy birthday (wait for the side story)!

P.S: Tell God, if possible not to get my Lola just yet - I'm a lola's boy and he knows how it will hurt. :'-(

The cold is causing me to daydream!

Is it possible to Snow in the Philippines? I've got this question in mind since I was a kid.(Who doesn't?)Will it ever snow here in the Philippines.You know? Those kind of questions.But later I found out that it never will.But still, I keep on daydreaming that it will snow here somehow.Obviously, I've never experienced snow my whole life.Not until I'll go abroad someday, somehow, I hope.But then something's telling me that it just have to snow here in the Philippines.For it to happen here in the Philippines is totally different than experiencing it abroad.It's a phenomenon, it's amazing and perhaps that most magical thing that will happen so far!

Now what have I found out that it will never ever snow here in the Philippines? This is actually because Geography (although I wasn't enrolled in that goddamn subject) has taught me that it will never snow in the tropics.Philippines is located in the tropics so it will never snow, as simple as that.But in case you want a scientific explanation of why it won't snow here in the Philippines then try consulting Google or Yahoo Answers.

Has it ever snowed in the Philippines?

Yes and No!

• By the word of mouth "Yes".There happened to be incidents wherein snow for a short span of time(perhaps minutes) was experienced in the highest point of the Philippines.But where is that? It is here right in Mindanao (Mt. Apo to be precise - the tallest mountain in the Philippines).I have been told that some mountaineers experience snow when they reached the peak of Mt. Apo.It was when the temperature here in Davao went down around 17-20*C(this is not the temperature in Mt. Apo could have gone down to zero).My gradeschool teacher also told us that it snowed on their place in Marilog, Davao City (It's somewhere around a place called the Baguio District of Davao City).
• But how about Baguio? Has it snowed in Baguio? Baguio is the summer capital of the Philippines ironically because of its cold weather.Well it never snowed in Baguio but there are reports that there happened to be hail storms years ago.Recent news reports says that hail storm was recorded somewhere in the high lands of Benguet.There are ice on the water containers stored outside the houses, the grasses, vegetables, even flowers are covered with ice and it's making the crops wither and die!
• Why? No - because let me state for the record that there was no official report that it snowed here in the Philippines.No video proof that it snowed (well proof out of images may subject to suspicion since Photoshop exists nowadays).

Now, will it ever snow in the Philippines in the future?

While it is impossible by this point of time for that to happen.Some theories may lead to that possibility in the future.Like the weather is changing from time to time and Global warming is still on effect.This may happen if ever there's going to be another continental shift or if the axis of the Earth tilts a bit.Probably, Yes! But then "Yes" could sound horrible by that point of time.

The Consequences!


Behind all of this selfish daydreaming of mine (and you in your mind!); We've got is the cruel reality that if ever it will snow here in the Philippines.Just thinking of the worst case scenario - there will be lives lost because of that.People will die (especially the poor and those who lives in the streets), crops will die just like what I've mentioned above and we will have a hard time coping up with the weather since a snowy one is not suited for our nature.So let's just accept the truth that it will never snow in the Philippines and hope that it never will.lol
